Description:
This is a real Remington Model 14 Saddle Ring Carbine (14-R), .30 Remington Caliber, the saddle ring carbine version of the Model 14 is rare. This gun does not have a "Thumbwheel Sight", however I have one that can be purchased as an extra. The barrel has Remington 701-1/2 rear sight and a rear tang sight. Please see the picture that shows the inside view of the saddle ring lug. The butt plate is metal. All finishes appear to be original. There isn't a lot of published information about these guns that I'm aware of other than the 72 page book by Ken Blauch. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
