30” part round part octagon No. 2 weight barrel with an axcellent bore.(All original) rifle features a nice factory engraving on the action along with a full loop lever. The rifle features all matching serial # the rifle is in very nice condition with the barrel retaining about 97% original finish .The action shows perhaps half of the original color case-hardened finish,which is drifting to a soft silver. The checkered pistolgrip buttstock and forend rate very good with 95% original finish with sharp clean checkering.The stevens No.3 heavy swiss buttplate. It is sighted with a globe front and interchangeable disc, A vernier tang mounted peepsight with combination eye cup.
