Barn find so to speak. This 55 year old gem clearly spent most of its time in a gun safe or closet. Harly a mark or flaw of conseqence (light scratch on floor plate and a light mark or two on the butt stock but otherwise pretty much as it left the old Winchester Factory in New Haven long ago. The abscense of wear to the decorative engine turning on bolt shaft indiactes that it ha not been shot much
Chambered in capable 22-250 with balistics not much under a swift but with excellent barrel life. Although this is a long distance varmint round in the hands of a capable and careful shooter where legal would also be and excellent mild shooting deer cal.
