Striped Maple Full-Length Stock with German Silver Patchbox
Here we present a 20th Century Full-Stock Long Rifle by Harry Sloan of Lorain, Ohio. This rifle has a 31-1/2 inch octagonal barrel in .40 caliber. The stock is beautifully grained maple and is adorned with a large patchbox and small medallions throughout of German silver. Double set triggers. The sights are Redfield Olympic Globe target sights. The front sight is missing the rear base screw. J. Golcher 19th century lock.
The overall condition is fine. Original finish. The action is excellent with a very light and crisp trigger pull. The bore is shiny bright with sharp rifling. The stock is fine and smooth. Full length solid brass rammer. Very nice, very handsome!
