Built in 1929, this Remington Model 12 C is in excellent overall condition. It has a tapered octagon barrel (.800" breech, .600" muzzle) with excellent sharp rifling and 90% original blue. There is a small area of the barrel that has ther blue rubbed that you can see in one of the photos. The action has 95%+ blue and is tight with almost no wear. This gun has just not been shot much at all. Original sights. Curved steel buttplate with no damage to the walnut stock with just some handling wear and scuffs. It does not have a model number designation on the barrel so it is possible this is a standard model 12 or it could be a 12C. I do not know enough about these to be able to tell the difference so I could use some help if anyone is more knowledgeable. It is marked for either shorts, long or long rifle .22.
