Serial #152XXX, 1914 mfg, British proofs on the barrel, receiver, and bolt, crossed swords cartouche on the left side of the stock and on the barrel, 26” round barrel, full magazine, checkered steel shotgun buttplate, excellent bore and action, 90% barrel and magazine blue, 60% receiver blue, a search states it was shipped from Winchester in December 1914 and charged to London Arms Co., possibly used by the Royal Flying Corps to shoot observation balloons and zepplins
