SOLD PENDING FUNDS:
This is a great example of a pre WWI, cavalry unit marked Luger, dated 1910. The gun retains about 90-95% of its original finish, with holster/carry wear on the grip straps and on the high edges. It is all matching (except magazine)with excellent bore and very good grips. No pitting. The gun has multiple Imperial German proofs. All the marking are sharp. Some of these early Lugers were distributed to German Cavalry units and this one bears a rare Dragunen unit mark on the front grip strap.
A very difficult to find example of a unit marked pre-WWI Luger.
