This is a super rare variation of Mauser WTP II pistol - an immediate post-war French occupation made gun. Mauser factory fell under the French sphere of influence after WWII and some of the German wartime pistols continued to be made for about a year under the French supervision. Only a few hundred of WTP 2 pistols in .25 ACP were made and this one is the lowest serial number reported so far - 16.
The gun is in very good original condition with just a few spots of blue wear on the slide, visible in the pictires. There is no rust or pitting present anywhere. Excellent bore and grips. Numbered 16 on the back of the slide and the back of the frame.
A scarce variant that might become available for sale only once in a generation.
