SOLD TO MR. GARLAND Winchester Model 70. SN 144752. Up for sale is a solid all original Winchester Model 70 chambered in the classic .22 Hornet. I purchased this rifle in 1978 and after mounting a Redield 4x scope I would travel to my local gun club to play with and enjoy the cartridge that has become one of my favorites. I removed the rear sight at the time I installed the scope and I've look high and low for the rear sight. If I do come across it, I will send it the buyer. The rifle is all original with some handling marks on the stock. The rifle is an excellent accurate shooter that I have not fired in more than 30 years. Please add 45.00 freight and insurance.
