SOLD This Woodsman was produced in 1937. The pistol's serial number is 115447. It has the standard 6 inch barrel chambered for the 22 Long Rifle cartridge. The bore and chamber is in minty condition. This pistol is fitted with the improved main spring so that this pistol can shoot high velocity ammunition. This Colt is as new in the box. There is no sign of this Colt ever being fired after the test firing. This pistol also shows almost no sign of handling. The original bluing would rate a 100% condition. The wood grips are in minty condition. The original two tone magazine is in new condition. The pistol comes with the test target serial numbered to this pistol. The green tag announcing that this pistol is fitted with the improved main spring. And the pamphlet Shooting Suggestions. The box is also serial numbered to this Colt. The end label is in fine condition. The box is in fair to good condition. The Woodsman model pistol was a very popular 22 and was a strong seller for Colt. It is not often that you can come across a new in the box first series Woodsman! This pistol would be a great addition to any Colt collection!
