Description:
This Winchester "Colonel William F. Buffalo Bill Cody 1846-1917" rifle was manufactured in 1968 to commemorate the life of the appointed Chief of Scouts. Colonel Cody praised the Winchester rifle as his favorite during his lifetime. This commemorative remains in excellent overall condition showing a few light use marks in wood stock. Wood remains solid and retains original finish but has a few small dings under lever near bottom tang, and on bottom of buttstock Blue and bore remain excellent. Both sides of receiver are machine engraved and Buffalo Bill commemorative coin is inletted into right side of stock. Complete with original box and sleeve. Only small Buffalo Bill commemorative card remains in box. Sleeve still has good color but is tattered on both ends with a few marks. Still a great gun! .30-30 Winchester
