Cased set of two Pony Express Centennial Colt Single Action Army Revolvers chambered in .45 Colt and .22 Long Rifle. The serial number indicates that the guns were manufactured in 1961-1962. The set comes in a shared display case with commemorative medallion. The .45 Colt revolver includes two additional unfluted cylinders. The cylinders have the founders of the Pony Express on one and the Pony Express route on the other. Included with the set are assorted documentation and publications relating to the set and the Pony Express, including a receipt from the Pony Express History and Art Gallery from 1962, a sheet of Pony Express stamps, and a Bible numbered to the guns. Also includes an additional factory box for the .22 LR revolver. .45 Colt
