Description:
The 1895 GS, or stainless steel "Guide Gun," was based off the famous 336 action and beefed up to handle heavy calibers. Originally intended as a stopper gun for north country guides to help ensure their clients "got home alive," the Guide Gun has morphed into a popular hunting gun for short range heavy game such as bear and boar. This one features low maintenance stainless steel, fast handling straight grip stock, and cross-bolt safety. The gun itself may have been fired, but it doesn't show. If you don't tell anyone differently, they might think you have a new gun. Manufacture date is 2006 based upon S/N 9420xxxx. .45-70 Government
