Description:
Remington Rand M1911A1 semiautomatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. An improved version of the original M1911, the M1911A1 was adopted by the US Armed Forces in 1926. The U.S. military procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols during its service life. The pistol served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. This pistol is in very good condition with very light finish wear. It comes with one magazine. It was manufactured by Remington Rand in early 1945 and appears to have been arsenal rebuilt in 1962 as a National Match model. It is marked "United States Property" and "US Army". Comes with the shipping box and pouch from the Springfield Arsenal dated "6/62". .45 Auto
