Description:
Special order features include a 24 inch round barrel and a 3/4 length magazine tube. A pistolgrip walnut stock with a shotgun buttplate. Barrel is chambered in 25-35 caliber and retains about 75% thinning blue. The rear sight delete is replaced with factory tapped holes for a scope blocks. These are factory tapped holes as evident by the offset proof marks. A period Lyman tang sight as well as a Lyman front sight. The receiver has about 30%-40% original blue. Receiver is tapped for a receiver sight which holes have been neatly plugged. Gun also has been fitted with eyes for Winchester detachable sling hooks. Original wood is in generally very good condition complete with a shotgun style serrated steel buttplate. An excellent bore and a crisp action should make for a great shooter. Very scarce little gun made in 1925.
