See page 93 in Roy Marcot's book: Remington Rolling Block Rifles Carbines & Shotguns. At the time of publishing only three were known, SN.'s 7087, 7704, and 7712. I guess this one, sn 7721, makes number 4.
The bore is bright and shinny like new. There are a few storage dings, but otherwise this rifle is in excellent condition. The pictures tell the story. I have cartridge cases from Buffalo Arms and a custom made mold for any shooters. For a RB, this is a very light weight rifle. It makes a great stalking rifle, 6.6 LBS.
