Standard configuration Ortgies pocket pistol in 6.35mm with fixed front and rear sights. Left side of slide marked with manufacturer and "Ortgies' Patent". Caliber and C/N proofing on exposed barrel hood, the proof repeated on the top of the slide (above extractor) and the right side of the frame. Full serial number under frame extension with "Germany" as applied to pistols earmarked for export. Original smooth walnut grips with Ortgies logo escutcheons. Original satin finished Ortgies magazine with logo and caliber on floorplate. Complete with original shipping box, no serial number notation, losses as photographed with taped corners, excellent original instruction booklet and original cleaning rod. Synopsis: Deutsche Werke, Ortgies pocket pistol, original instruction booklet, cleaning rod and shipping box. Condition: VG original condition with sharp edge wear and thinning of straps as expected from handing and moderate use. Comparable condition oil darkened grips. Magazine with noticeable blemish/corrosion on left side as photographed. Generally bright bore with sharp rifling and shallow etching from corrosive ammunition. Perfect manual mechanics. G-VG box, near excellent instruction booklet.
