The Ruger AR-556 is a semi-automatic modern sporting rifle with a milled gas block a telescoping M4-style buttstock and ergonomic pistol grip with extended trigger reach.
The flattop upper is forged from aerospace-grade aluminum includes a forward assist dust cover and brass deflector and is hard coat anodized for durability while the 16.10 medium contoured barrel is cold hammer-forged from chrome-moly steel for longevity and easy cleaning. Heat-resistant glass-filled nylon handguards aid in comfort and durability and the single-stage trigger with enlarged trigger guard for gloved shooting assists with reliable fire control.
