Description:
For your consideration, the U.S. Springfield Model 1903 bolt action rifle chambered in 30-06. The Springfield 1903 was the American response to the German Mauser1893 rifle. Lessons learned during the Spanish-American War led to its development. Predominately it saw service during World War 1 and again in World War 2, this rifle more than earned its reputation. This rifle based on the serial number and markings was manufactured between the first and second world wars. The receiver shows a stamp of 1929 and a Springfield Armory stamp of 1938 on the barrel. Overall it was kept in good working order and is in good shape for its age. .30-06 Springfield
