Description:
Serial #219926, .38 Special, 2 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Undercover model revolver manufactured in Bridgeport, CT with production there from 1966-1974, the later ones produced in Stratford, CT and features a one piece steel frame and transfer bar safety. In excellent plus condition the revolver shows very little sign of use retaining virtually all, 97-98% of the original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder with only a very faint drag line on the latter with some finish blemishes on the bottom and back of the grip frame. The hammer shows nearly all of the original vibrant case color. The walnut grips are likewise excellent. It comes in the original cardboard box numbered to the gun with manual and paperwork. Originally sold as a low cost carry gun very few of these early production ones survive in this condition. FFL or C&R
