Description:
Serial #20061, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1960-made revolver that has retained 97-98% of the original blue finish on the barrel, yoke, and cylinder, with a commensurate amount of the original anodized finish remaining on the alloy frame. A mild turn-ring is present on the cylinder as well. There are some small spots of silvering along some of the high edges and projections, mostly on the frame, and the trigger has retained most of the original color case-hardening. The smooth walnut grips are original, numbered to the gun on the interior, and are in very good-near fine shape, with some minor handling marks and blemishes present on both panels. The action lock-up is good and the revolver functions flawlessly. This is a very nice "Flat-Latch" J-frame, and is in fine-near excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
