This is for a man with deep pockets. Or at least wide pockets. And a good belt to hold his pants up. I would guess this was made to set on a desk or table. Runs great. Keeps time. For a 100 years old. Not bad. Must have been some real craftsman back in those days that cared about quality. Not these days. It's production and make that almight dollar
