Description:
The Spencer Model 1890 pump action shotgun was the first successful American made pump-gun. By 1890 the Spencer Sporting Arms Company was deeply in debt. The company was sold to the Francis Bannerman Company, who continued the manufacture of this model. This particular shotgun does not have the Bannerman stamp on the left side of the receiver so, one could assume that it was made before the takeover however, Bannerman didn't start marking them with their trademark until they ran out of Spencer receivers late in 1890. 12 Gauge
