A very high condition example of the seldom encountered H&R Hunter with a 10” barrel having fixed front and notched rear sight. “Hunter Model” marked on top strap. Full serial number on front strap. Last three digits, partially bored out on back of cylinder. Major and most minor components blued with case colored checkered spur hammer. Walnut saw grips with generous border less checkering on each panel. Synopsis: Striking H&R Model Hunter SA/DA Revolver, 10” Barrel, .22RF Condition: Approx 95% bright original blue with a spot of blue loss on the left side of muzzle, sharp edge wear and scattered freckling in usual locations for a revolver that has seen field use. No suggestion of touch up. Comparable condition grips. Bright bore with sharp rifling. All cylinders index properly with single action cocking.
