***SOLD***Marlin Model 1893 .38-55 WCF (black powder) lever action rifle, dated to approximately 1909. This rifle is a rare special order Model 1893, with a set of features that make it both unique and desirable. Most notably, the rifle was ordered with a 26" half-octagon barrel, as well as a half magazine tube. The barrel is marked "For Black Powder", which is somewhat odd for a 1909-manufactured gun, but it is a unique feature. The rifle is in spectacular condition with some mild finish wear, however far below average wear for its age. The action is smooth and the bore looks brilliant with sharp rifling.
