St Etienne 1873. There is no caliber marked on this pistol. The gun has had the finish removed and looks like there was a few places that had pitting on it. It functions flawlessly. This pistol was designed about Henri-Gustave Delvigne and J. Chamelot. It was manufactured by Manufacture d'armer de Saint-Étienne from 1873-1887. 337,000 of these pistols were produced. These pistols served from its adoption in 1873 until World War II. It was also in widespread use with French partisan fighters Unknown
