Scarce Remington-Rider D/A New Model Belt Revolver w/FLUTED cylinder. (#114) This six-shot, 36 caliber percussion, double action revolver was produced between 1863-65. 6-1/2” octagon barrel. The barrel marking is light (typical Remington) and reads in two lines “MANUFACTURED BY REMINGTONS, ILION, N.Y./RIDER’S PT. AUG. 17, 1858, MAY 3, 1859”. Estimated production of ALL Remington-Rider D/A revolvers is only 3000 to 5000 with fluted cylinder models accounting for only a few hundred – all with 3 digit serial numbers as is this one. SN #581. Brass triggerguard and walnut grips that appear to have been lightly sanded at some point. No original finish remaining. Mottled gray finish with a few areas of very light pitting. This is an opportunity to own a rare Remington pistol, still in percussion, that few collectors have.

All firearms are being sold as antiques and I make NO warranties or guarantees, whatsoever, as to a firearm’s safety. All firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing.
SHIPPING: No local pick up. No international shipments. Shipping within the continental United States will be $65 for long arms and $45 for pistols. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will incur additional charges (I’ll only charge the incremental difference in shipping costs). I’ll do my best to ship as quickly as possible, but please keep in mind that I’m an individual and don’t have a shipping department (unless you count my wife).
