A scarce, limited production, SA/DA, compact, light weight carry pistol with special features, available from the Performance Center, made 1995-1997, total production limited to 611 pistols, all with a PCV prefix to the serial number ranging from PCV0001-PCV0611. This dual tone 9mm example has a drift adjustable front and rear sight with white highlights and a 3.5in barrel marked with the caliber and “PERFORMANCE”. Bobbed hammer. The left side of the blued slide, left sided safety, is marked “Smith & Wesson”. Full serial number on the left side of the satin chrome frame; S&W Performance logo is on the right side. Wrap around S&W grip with three panels of checkering, push button release magazine with black plastic finger extension floorplate. The left side of the magazine having four indicator holes: 5, 7, 9, 11; the right side having five indicator holes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12. Synopsis: S&W, Performance Center, Shorty 9, PCV0379, A-1659 Condition: Excellent with only minimal sharp edge wear. The grips are in even better condition, magazine with only minute insertional wear. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
