Description:
1892 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine in 44-40. Manufactured in 1912. 20" barrel and full magazine retain 80 to 85% of their original blue. Great markings and correct sights. Very nice bore, I will rate it a high 8 close 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. Receiver retains 75 to 80% of its original finish. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition showing the normal handling marks that you would expect to see from a gun of this vintage (tiny crack in the left side wrist area, nothing to get concerned about, see pic). Sling Eyes are still present. 1892 Winchester SRC are one the most sought after lever actions at the present time, don't miss out on a chance to own a well above average one.
