SOLD This Colt Commercial Model 1911-A1 was produced in 1950. The pistol's serial number is 246617-C. This is the first year that Colt put the Commercial ''C'' code after the serial number. This 45 A.C.P. Colt is in near new condition! This pistol has been fired very little. There is hardly any sign of this Colt being shot. The bore is in minty condition. The high polish bluing is stunning! The no glare finish is fully intact with no fading. The original bluing would rate a 99% or slightly better condition. The Colt "Pony" grips are in minty condition. The original magazine is in new condition. This is a great looking Government Model 1911A1 that has survived in wonderful condition! This highly collectable Colt would be a fine addition to any Colt collection!
