on hold.... A nice smooth carbine with a nice bore and good markings for a spencer as most aren't completely readable.. Mechanically excellent and complete carbine missing the loading tube in the butt. TWO inspectors markings visible in the wood that shows use and a crack on backside which is common on spencers as they took out wood in the middle of the stock for the loading tube. Metal is a dark brown patina with some patches of pitting mostly on the frame. The bore Is in original 6 lands and grooves for the Civil War. A nice smooth Spencer Civil War Carbine that was never cleaned. Free UPS shipping.
