A Scarce U.S. Civil War Military Issued Colt Percussion 3rd Model Dragoon Revolver Cut For Stock With Its Original Holster In Very Nice Untouched Condition. The revolver is serial #17,100, made in 1858. All matching numbers, all original and complete. The gun has fine metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and clear cylinder scene. It is fully U.S. sub-inspected. It has the correct leaf sight in front of the cylinder on top of the barrel. All of the metal on the revolver has an even natural darkening patina on it and the frame shows some fading case colors on it. All screws are fine. The original grips are fine and full with U.S. Inspectors cartouches on both sides. They are also U.S. sub inspected on the bottom. It has a very good plus bore and a fine action. The original holster is all complete and is untouched as shown.
