A Scarce Percussion Colt Model 1855 #6 Root Revolver In Minty Condition. Serial #10,440, all matching numbers, all original and complete. Only about 3,000 of this model were made. It has a 3 1/2 inch barrel and is in .31 caliber. The revolver has mint metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and very clear cylinder scene. The barrel, frame, cylinder and backstrap retain all of their original bright factory blue finish. The loading lever, and hammer both retain their bright factory case colors.. All screws are mint on the gun. The original grips are mint and full throughout. They retain all of their original factory varnish on them. The gun has a mint bore and perfect action. This Is A Very High Condition Example Of A Scarce Percussion Colt Model 1855 #6 Root Revolver That Would be a Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Collection!
