Standard configuration 1907 Roth Steyr with Hungarian address on top of slide and serial number on right side of frame. Proofed in 1913. Fitted with usual serrated grips, the right panel having a regimentally marked disc “5 S B”. Complete with original holster, inked markings inside lid, shoulder straps cut/removed. Synopsis: Complicated and Charismatic Roth Steyr 1907 pistol, caliber 8mm, designed in Austria, usually manufactured by Steyr, this example made in Budapest, Hungary, with regimental marked disc and original holster. Condition: VG+ original rust blue finish with speckling and holster wear as photographed, the front a nd backstraps with patina darkening. Comparable condition grips, the grip screw and disc having been freshened. Dull bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition original holster, the shoulder straps having been removed. A very nice military rig of Austrian design, made in Hungary, that was used extensively during WWI. ~~Insured shipping fee of $65; most packages shipped using FedEx 2nd Day.~~
