***** SOLD *****Favorite No. 17 Stevens Favorite No. 17 Model 1894
This Favorite is the No. 17 Model 1894. It will be marked on the barrel J. STEVENS A & T CO. CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A. PAT APR.17, 94 in two lines. Rifles made after 1920 will be marked J. STEVENS ARMS COMPANY. The receiver ring will be marked TRADE MARK FAVORITE REG.US PAT. OFF & FGN in three lines. The 22″ barrel is part octagonal, part round. This rifle was made between 1894 and 1935 with numerous options, chamberings and other modifications and denoted by Nos. 18 through 21.
This gun is in fair condition overall. There is no original finish left on the metal work. There is a small chip in the buttplate which is shown in the pictures. Thw buttstock is in excellent condition, however there is a large chip missing from the forend.
NOTE... There is a full box of "Western" ammo available with the gun at an additional cost (shipped separately at additional cost).
