***SOLD*** Absolutely beautiful Pre 70 Colt 1911 Commercial Government model, in 45 auto. This beauty was made in 1966, and it features the distinctive high quality craftsmanship and deep dark bluing of the 50's, and 60's 1911 commercial pistols!
As the pictures clearly show, this pistol is in high collector's grade! The extremely hard to find original factory plastic grips (notorious for shrinking and becoming brittle over the years), are in excellent shape! One of the best grips we have seen on these 50's and 60's guns! It has a rich brown color and they are free of any cracks or chips!
This pistol is in excellent condition! The barrel and chamber are superb! Action is crisp!
It comes with original magazine. No box!
