Description:
Super clean Remington model 1903. Everything on this rifle is correct. The serial number dates it to April of 1943, and the barrel date is 4-43. The stock is a type 7, which is correct for this date Remington. The type 7 (stock pins instead of cross bolts) during 1942 and early 1943. The metal is amazing for a 79 year old survivor. It has the proper stock stamps with FJA (Col. Frant J Atwood) and crossed cannons as well as the proof 'P' and several inspection stamps. The bore is mirror bright. A nice, collectible WWII weapon.
