This no 4 mk1 Enfield was made before the U.S. entered WWII . By the rules of the lend lease program they had to be marked U.S. Property as shown. The rifles were only marked this way until we entered the war. These rifles were made by Savage and feature a 2 grove barrel.
This example is in very good condition with a bright bore.
