This Belgian-made shotgun is a 1971 20-Gauge Browning Superposed, Lightning Grade. 28\" Barrel are Full & modified, and chambered for 3 inch shells. This shotgun is very clean. Wood and metal show very few signs of use no pitting or cracks in the wood. Mechanical function is perfect and action locks up tight.
The Browning Superposed was one of the first over and under shotgun designs to be produced, and it introduced a wide variety of innovations including the single select trigger and over-under design.
This design was considered revolutionary in the 1930s, and was the last firearm to be designed by John Browning.
