Here is the finest example of an early 12ga SxS that I think I have ever seen. ID'd as Karl Kornes, leifzig (no germany stamp) and barrels are marked Nitro. The chambers measure a long 2 9/16 and safely fired 2 3/4" with no extraqction problems. Bores are bright and shinny. This gun is in immaculant condition. I would put bluing at 90%, at least, as well as wood and finish. The ButtPlate and Trigger Guard are from horn and NO craqcks, there is also an insert of the horn in the tip of the splinet handguard. As besst as I can determine, this gun was made somewhere around 1905. This gun locks up "TIGHT" and all wood to metasl fit is excellent. I tried to photograph as best I can but I am no photographer. I believe the price to be fair, but reasonable offers are considered.
