Description:
Here we have a very well-made and tight Winchester Model 101 made in Japan by Olin Kodansha which is a highly regarded maker by shotgun shooters around the globe. The action locks up tightly and very smoothly. The top lever is right of center so there are still many years of shooting ahead for this shotgun. The metal is very nicely engraved and retains almost all of its original deep bluing with a little high edge wear. The 28" barrel is topped with a ventilated rib and brass beads both front and mid barrel. Both barrels measure .725" at the muzzle which would indicate that this 101 is designed as a skeet gun. The stock is fashioned from a very nice piece of wood and has some signs of use and handling. The stock has the original butt plate and a LOP of 14". These are being snatched up by collectors and sporting shooters alike. This Model 101 would make an excellent Skeet gun or a great field gun.
