Gallyon & Sons Double Barrel Shotgun fitted with engraved (at the breech) 30 1/8 inch Damascus barrels (choked Full/Modified) with a solid rib, engraved box lock receiver, blue finished and engraved trigger guard/lower tang, double triggers, ejectors, and chambered in 2 1/2 inch 12 Gauge. The walnut forearm is checkered with engraved hardware and the English stock is checkered and fitted with a separate heel and toe butt-plate with engraved screws and a initial plaque. This approx. 1893 vintage double barrel appears to be an orignal example and is in very fine condition, retaining lots of finish, with only a few very minor handling marks/dings, mostly on the stock. The bores are bright, with some spotty corrosion/pitting, and the action is tight and functions perfectly. NOTE: 14 1/8 inch LOP and a 1 5/8 inch Drop at Heel.
