"Hammond Bulldog Single Shot .44 Henry Rimfire caliber. With correct original box. Note: Hammond boxes are unlabeled and totally unmarked. We have sold boxed Hammonds in the past and they were in unmarked boxes like this one. Bore has very good rifling and some scattered pits. Bore is mostly bright. Barrel has approximately 93-95% blue. The frame has about 60-70% case colors. Hammonds are unusual loading action which, with the push of the top release button swings the breech block to the left allowing the .44 Henry cartridge to load. Grips are excellent. Scarce boxed rig.
