"Beautiful Cased Set of Evans Peanut Size Derringers. .50 Caliber with a 1 ½" barrel and 5 ½" overall length. This is the only set of peanut size .50 calibers we have ever seen. Condition is fantastic! They are near new condition with all of the finish and brown striping. Wood is excellent. Furniture is nicely engraved German silver. Guns are cased and according to the collector these came from, the case is from retailer and distributor, M.W. Robinson in New York. We have not been able to verify this. Beautiful cased set. James Evans was a Philadelphia maker from 1850-1865.
