Description:
Serial #204473, .38 S&W, 3 1/4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a ca. 1905-made revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, latch, and extractor. The metal retains 97-98% of the original nickel-plated finish, which has some mild freckling starting to form in a few spots, and a mild turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder. The trigger guard and latch retain a commensurate amount of the original blue finish, and the trigger has some muted original color case-hardening remaining. The hard rubber grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. Both panels are in fine shape with few handling marks and very little flattening of the points, and have faded to a pleasant dark brown color over time. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a fine-near excellent "Lemon Squeezer" overall, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
