Description:
The Colt® 1991 A1 Series 80 Government Model® Semi-Auto Pistol is a direct takeoff of the standard-issue M1911 sidearm originally manufactured by Colt and used by the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. The 1991 Series has many of the original features as the M1911, including a spur hammer, flat main spring housing, a long trigger, standard grip safety and thumb safety. The standard spur hammer with the original grip safety allows the shooter better access for cocking the pistol by reaching up with the thumb. Upgrades to the 1991 A1 include tighter manufacturing tolerances and a lowered ejection port. The Colt 1991 Series Government Model Semi-Auto Pistol has proven itself to be a rugged and reliable sidearm for self-defense. Manufactured 1994. .45 ACP
