Description:
Original, Antique Matched Pair of Slotter & Co. percussion Deringers made in Philadelphia. These were made by former Henry Deringer workmen named Schlotterbeck, and were known for higher workmanship and quality. They had left his employment, formed Slotter & Co., and were prohibited by lawsuit from using Deringer's name on their guns. Made in the late 1860s, they are 5-3/8" overall, have 1-13/16" steel marked barrels, and engraved German silver furniture. The bores are rifled in 40 caliber. Both guns are stamped Slotter & Co. PHILa on barrels and breech. Condition is identical on both pistols, with all original finish and no cracks or dents. Purchased 25 years ago from an old collection. Please examine the photos to determine actual condition. Shipping $35.00 with checks or USPS MO only accepted. Please use email for purchase or questions. Sorry, I do not entertain trades or financial arrangements.
