Description:
This is a Winchester Model 62A GALLERY GUN with a history in the carnival industry. This gun was in rough shape when I aquired it, but I had it brought back to life by a remarkable gunsmith. It took several internal part replacments to get it to function properly again. It now operates smooth as designed, and locks up tightly. The metal has been restored to the original factory blue. The forarm is original to the gun, but the butt stock is an after market walnut replacment with nice figure to the grain. The S/N 144796 indicates a build date of 1941, but has been removed from the lower tang due to a metal repair. Many of these gallery guns got interchanged with others when a failure occurred with one half, to keep the show going. This gun has a very good bore in the correct (22 SHORT) factory P stamped replacement barrel, (as continuous use would wear them out). This gun has the triangular gallery loading port in the magazine tube to facilitate the use of a speed loading device. The sight package is factory correct. Now is your chance to own a true gallery gun that has been nicely restored.  $695.00 Shipped and insured to a current FFL in your area within the lower 48 states.  Payment by PMO or certified bank check.  Dan at (608) 751-7194.  Thanks for your interest.
