Winchester Model 70. SN# 418922. Up for sale is a very rare Winchester Model 70. It is hard to guess but there may be as few as under 200 of the series of pre-64 Winchester Model 70 ever produced. This unique rifle is chambered in the .243 Win. cartridge. The rare rifle is factory original from buttplate to muzzle and was manufactured in 1958. The records for Model 70 special order guns is somewhat incomplete but this rifle is one of a very few and also in collector quality condition.
