Rare London Armory nickel plated Winchester 1873 Musket. Made in 1890. 30"" Barrel has an excellent bore. Approximately 98% nickel finish. There are British proofs on the receiver and barrel. The stocks are fine with scattered use dents and no chips or cracks. The left side of the receiver has the London Armory markings. Action works perfectly. This musket is pictured on page 174 of ""The Winchester book"" by George Madis (1985 edition). Madis states: ""Any extra, such as plating, is very rare on a musket. Kerr and Company were long time Winchester dealers for England..."" A fantastic known Winchester Musket!
